About MeMy name is Michael Lopes and I am 22 years old, and I am a Business major at GGC with a concentration in International Business. I was born in New York City and lived there for about half my childhood. When I was around 9 years old, my family moved overseas. During this time I developed a curiosity and appreciation for different countries and their cultures. This experience has inspired me to expand and inspire growth in my education so that I may one day do business and exchange ideas with companies across the globe.
Currently, I live in Lawrenceville, Georgia with my friends and family and work for a Restaurant in Lilburn, Georgia. In my free time, I enjoy making music, going out with friends, freelance modeling, and spending time with my dog, Frank.

After satisfying the necessary credit requirements to transfer, I will be continuing my studies at Georgia State University. My hopes after graduation are to hopefully enroll in a business graduate school to refine my skill set and expand my education.
In the future, I hope to one day work in marketing/distribution with international brands like Nike, Disney, and Coca-Cola.
|Audio File Type||Sampling Rate (Hz)||Description||File Size|
|WAV||44100||WAV file contains raw audio data samples without using compression. Therefore it should be quite big. Click this link to play or download.||10,585,700 bytes|
|MP3||44100||MP3 file uses compression for audio data. Resulting in a file much smaller than the WAV file for the same length of audio. Click this link to play or download.||961,679 bytes|
|WAV||11025||When I resample the same audio with a lower rate, the size should come down. In this case, it should be roughly 1/4th of the previous WAV file size. Click this link to play or download.||482,280 bytes|
|MP3||32000||IIn general, when compression is in use, reducing the sampling rate should not change the file size significantly. It is hard to tell how file sizes will be affected. Click this link to play or download.||2,646,900 bytes|
