Purpose:

The Information Technology Laboratory is a hands-on learning environment that provides the students and faculty of GGC's Information Technology program access to resources that are not avaiable in the typical classroom. Here students can see and work with equipment and programs like they might find in the "real world", and instructors are able to configure specific IT environments to showcase the topics being presented.

Location:

The Information Technology Lab is located in Building A, Room 1200

Availability:

This facility is typically available to the students & faculty of GGC's Information Technology courses when not reserved in advance for a class or special event. Please see the Lab Schedule link above to see when the Lab is reserved for class use.

Note: Reservations always take precedence over other Lab use. If students are in the Lab when a reserved event begins, it is up to the reserving faculty member to determine if the students may stay.

Sheduling:

To reserve the Information Technology Lab, E-mail the Lab Supervisor, stating the date(s), time, and purpose for the request.

The Lab Supervisor will confirm the reservation by return E-mail if there are no conflicts.

Reservations are not considered valid unless confirmed by the Lab Supervisor, and added to the Lab Schedule.
